Moving from the US to Canada? IRCC requires photos taken by a professional photographer to strict size and lighting rules. I'm a PPA-member photographer in Mapleton, Maine, a short drive from the New Brunswick border, and I take and print them to IRCC specifications.
| First person | $100 |

Yes. IRCC's photo specifications say photos must be taken by a commercial photographer, and printed photos need the photographer's name and address and the date the photo was taken on the back. App or self-taken photos are a common reason applications are delayed.
It depends on your application. Paper applications and PR cards usually need printed photos; many online applications ask for a digital photo. Check the photo instructions that came with your application and bring them along. If you're not sure, I'll help you read them.
The session itself takes about 15 minutes per person. Prints come from a professional lab and are normally ready in about 2 weeks, or about 1 week with rush. Digital files, if you need them, arrive within 2 business days.
Plain, everyday clothing with a neckline that's visible. Avoid white (it blends into the background), and skip hats and tinted glasses. Religious head coverings are fine as long as your full face is visible.
If IRCC rejects them because they don't meet its photo specifications, I'll retake and reprint them at no charge within 6 months of your session.
Yes. Each additional person at the same visit is $75. Children and babies are welcome; for infants we take a little extra time to get a compliant photo.
